Koshko, satanism is very old.
Scientology is a new ''religion'' invented in the fifties by L. Ron Hubbard. His works on scientology and dianetics were pretty weird, but the technique of audition he developped was good. Once Hubbard was audited, and he said that Scientology was bull****. Isn't that a proof. His Sci-Fi books were not bad though.
