What's your religion? If you aren't religious, then what are you? (don't worry if you don't know what to call yourself. No matter what you believe or don't believe in, there's a label out there somewhere for you.) I'm an agnostic.

I stick with my old English teacher, who always, when someone said "Oh my god", used to reply: "Yes, I'm here."

I hover on the border between Atheism and Nihilistic Atheism ie. I don't believe in god, but sometimes I just don't care.

For those that haven't seen it yet, there's a somewhat similiar thread over at "Ranking" of religious beliefs. I would rank as a theist very close to deist, myself; and as for denomination, Presbyterian.

An interesting page you should check out, with some interesting ideas on religion as well, is this FAQ on the Meaning of Life. Can't say I agree with everything there; but a very thought provoking page definitely.

I was born Catholic, converted to Jewish, then later became Protestant, didn't like the Church so moved over to Hinduism, didnt like worshiping cows so now I'm an Atheist because I believe in nature-
there are no "gods" out there, no god is going to put food on your table or answer your prayers, its up to ourselves to work and put food on our tables, and answer our own prayers.

Nature and science is the only religion for me, nature made us, not a false god.
Science shows humans evolving from neanderthal-ape-like creatures, and yet the bible portrays the supposedly first human beings (adam and eve) being perfectly-shaped humans! If we evolved over all this time then just how were the first 2 humans acually human?!

So any christians out there, maybe it's time to remove the shackles that keep you chained to your dying false religion and become a believer in nature.
To any jews, do the same.

To any gays, just kill yourself because your going against my religion, nature. (male, female= reproduction male/male=AIDS and no reproduction)

Raised Roman Catholic.

Tried the Jehovah's Witnesses, Baptists, Presbyterians, Mormon's, and a Non-denominational church.

Mainly interested in Satan's point of view. I already know God's.

Ya'll know the story of Beowulf. Remember the monster, "Grendel"? I suggest you find and see the cartoon movie entitled, "Grendel". It was made in the 70's or 80's. It's enlightening to see the story from another point of view.

Probably Deist. I try to stay away from organized religion. That way I don't feel bad because of the atrocities committed in the name of said religion.

I am an agnostic.

I was raised a Christian, but then turned to Atheism. After reading the Tao Te Ching, some Buddhist books, other Christian theological books, and others, I became truly agnostic.

I suppose, though, being a teenager, I know not my place in this world yet. Agnosticism fits us well.

Agnostic. All organized religions are hypocrites(except maybe buddhism).

Picker: Hypocrisy is a characteristic of sentience, therefore religion cannot be hypocritical, only some religous individuals. I hate it when people make blanket statements like that.

K shane: Your argument is very convincing. Maybe we should go out and kill the gays for them? >>>SARCASM<<<
Tolerance, my friend, is a trait which you are in dire need of.

Usually Atheist, Basically I believe there is no good evidence to make me think (in any sense) that there is such thing as a GOD (or spells, or crystal power, whatever). If appropriate evidence comes to light. (GOD appearing right in front of me would help) I might change my mind. Unlike most Atheists, I'm willing to let people believe what they want. Even if people are believing in Mythology, alot of people are deriving some good from religion. If for no other reason than for the community that a Church can provide.
As said in the Trading Places movie...
Religion is a Good Thing...when taken in MOderation.
