Could you please take some time to fill out this short forum survey:

1) Do you think there are too few people on this forum?

2) Do you think the thread topics here are a bit on the dull side?

3) What do you think we as a forum community can do to improve this situation?

Thank you for your time.

1) No opinion.
2) There used to be good topics. But that was quite a while back. Now, there is a sharp dropoff in posts and fascinating topics.
3) I'm Transcendii. I could care less. Save for the fact that I'll be a Founder of the Civ3 forums.

1) Do you think there are too few people on this forum?

-Yes, regulars that is.

2) Do you think the thread topics here are a bit on the dull side?

-Alas, yes.

3) What do you think we as a forum community can do to improve this situation?

-Convert more nebies to the non-SMAC forum. They will never understand why they liked the game forum anyway.

1. Yes
2. Yes
3. We need women. They give topics more life.

Example:

We were having Equal Opportunity training in my unit about 6 weeks ago. We were reading scenarios to determine if sexual harassment had occured. One scenario was between a pilot and a female air traffic controller. The pilot kept referring to the ATC as "honey", "babe", etc.. Was this sexual harassment? After listening to all the arguments one officer brought up the point that we were assuming the pilot was a male. My response was," Of course it was a male; women can't drive, what makes you think they can fly!" This silence that followed was deafening. The stares like daggers being thrown at my chest.

If there hadn't been any women in the room, the point would not have had the same effect.
