Many of you are probably like me in that you don't frequent either the Game forum or Apolyton. I thought I'd let you know that there are a series of threads now active in which we are trying to compile suggestions to submit in a big, organized list to Brian Reynolds (more or less at his request) for Civ III, which Firaxis has announced he will be working on. Yin26 appears to be the ring-leader, and I have just volunteered to be the Technology "thread master" (sort of a pseudo-moderator). The threads are located in The Game Forum, mostly with names like: CIV 3: TECHNOLOGY--Your Ideas Here! To Be Mailed to Brian June 23rd... OR at Apolyton in the Civ III forum. I know that a lot of the vets around here have some good ideas (and by the law of averages, some newbies must have a few good ideas ), so lets all make sure that Civ III rocks. |

Bumping this up to the top, and pointing out that we have moved everything to Apolyton in the Civ3-The+List+of+Ideas+for+Firaxis&number=28&DaysPrune=10&La stLogin=>Civ3-The List of Ideas for Firaxis forum. |

Ah yes, I just checked that for the first time yesterday. I didn't even bother with this thread before because I assumed "Why are they making threads for a game that won't exist for a whlie yet?" |

SnowFire: "I didn't even bother with this thread before" Hmmm... Any ideas about how to drum up interest in the other vets? I was sure that I would see some more of the old-timers chiming in than I have seen. |
