Use this forum to let others know of how and where you find the meaning of your life. To share and expound upon the most frequently asked question in mankind's history...For me, I find meaning in the interactions with all of the people in my life. To treat them the way I wish to be treated and to do something nice or kind in their lives. To be their friends. To strive for goodness. To realize what the faults are in my life and to actively correct them. Not radically and all at once, but one step at a time. To strive towards holiness and perfection, even though I know they are unattainable. To become closer to God. What's the meaning of life to you? God Bless...

By "meaning" you mean the reason life exists ?Hmm so that we can learn is my best guess, and to "improve" by the taking in of this extra knowledge, applying it, becoming wiser, doing the "right" thing, as we understand it. I think this would probably contain most of your definition within it. |

What is the meaning of life to me? The answer to that is different for each life: my wife's life means one set of things to me, my parents' lives another, my friends' lives still others, and so on.What does *my* life mean to me? The question itself is meaningless. Things can only have meaning to me as they relate to my life. So in effect, you're asking "How does my life relate to my life?"

I know, but he asked for life, so I gave him a little extra. It's like going to your job and getting that bonus at Christmas, unless this forum is your job, then you get nothing because of the crappy job you've done fixing all the bugs. |

Life's only purpose is life itself.Live it up. It all ends so soon, so why worry? Worry, because only the Paranoid survive. Happiness in life is a healthy dose of pharmaceuticals. If there is no demand in your life, create one. |

Life is merely an orderly decay of energy states, and survival requires the continual discovery of new energy to pump into the system. He who controls the sources of energy controls the means of survival. -- CEO Nwabudike Morgan, "The Centauri Monopoly" But seriously, the meaning of life IS life its slef, but what is life? Is it a divine gift from above to be cherished, or is it a biological process started by chance on some piece of rock orbiting the sun. How many people have lived and died before you, some in happieness, some in agony, how many have died without meaning, without even living. Why should they be different from me and you, how do our lives differ from an infant's who died just after birth. We may have done things know people accomplished great feats, yet when we die we are no different from the billions of those who have died before us. |

Hmmm, almost 20 hours since this thread was posted and only 7 replys? If this was three months ago, this thread would be about 150kb in size right now. |

Life is about survival, it has no meaning. You must simply stay alive until your body quits functioning. |

Life is what happens to you, while you try to figure out the meaning of life. |

Life 's but a walking shadow, a poor player That struts and frets his hour upon the stage And then is heard no more: it is a tale Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, Signifying nothing. --William Shakespeare, Macbeth No. Not really. I see it as my meaning in life to do what is right. |
