I'm not in a clan, I mostly act as running cannon fodder (Although I'm better than most newbies...).
I got TFC off a magazine cover CD, linked it up with Half-Life- Now I'm playing it almost every night. I play as reaper1bot7.

Well I loaded up TFC yesterday but ended up playing Half Life Deathmatch, I thought I should learn the basics before jumping into TFC. Fantastic. I ended up 8/18 which I was pretty happy with considering I spent about 90% of the time using the pistol because I didn't know where any weapons were. I think I would have done better if my latency hadn't been leaving me jerking around like I was on a 386. (Get your excuses in early.)
I'm going to be playing a lot in the future.

John: Whichever have the fastest pings. I try to find an on-line game with, say 14-20 participants with at least seven "dots" initially, playing 2fort or well.

the problem with HL multiplayer is even if you see about a half full loads of green dots server some times it just won't connect. I find myself having to use quick start because so many servers are unconectable.
I like Well and being a sniper. I never shoot at ground troops just at the foolish immobile enemy snipers.
