I have downloaded both patches, but I am having trouble with the game now. I get shape shadows following units. I get the little map in the right bottom corner showing white rectangle shaped lines reflecting where units have moved. I now have the command nexus so I know the patches must have been put in right. My computer is 350mhz Compaq Presario 5220 with an AGP 3D Graphics card (ATI RAge LT Pro) 4 meg synch graphics memory. Does it have to do with that? What to do, What to do? Can you help?

Those both sound like display problems and I remember a few problems with ATI Rages back when the game was released. I'd start by checking the ATI page for any updated drivers. Next, try downloading and installing DirectX 6.1 from www.microsoft.com/directx. If that doesn't work, try manually setting your desktop resolution to one the game uses (800x600x8bit or 1024x768x8bit).
