  No Manifold Nexus in V.4 patch

Author Topic:   No Manifold Nexus in V.4 patch

I've installed the 4 patch (twice) and when I start the game the version number now comes up as 4.0.
But.....
I don't have either the Borehole Cluster or the Manifold Nexus anywhere on the map, altho' I did have the Borehole Cluster after installing the Vers. 3 patch (UK).
Do they only appear later in the game? or not at all when using the Scenario Editor? (because this is how I checked).

Not sure if my answer can help, but you can't find Borehole Cluster nor Manifold Nexus into the Map of Planet, because Firaxis don't upgrade it. Instead, they are added at every Random map you generated. I never used a Scenario, so I'm not able to speak about it.
BTW I currently use Patch 4 english and in current game I owe Manifold and I'm going to send a Colony pod to the just discovered Cluster

What I HAVEN'T seen in version 4 random maps... the DESERT landmark (Great Dunes?).
They haven't updated EITHER map of Planet (normal or Huge). Maybe they will in SMACAX. They have added new landmarks into it. So...

Darkstar, I must ***ure you, I've got the Great Dunes on random map (just in the middle of my territory, how lucky I am! *GRIM SMILE*).
Reading here and there news on SMACX I'm almost sure Firaxis has added old and new special landmarks to the new Map of the Planet.
My only doubt is, now that I use large random map instead of standard map, that often not me nor the AI factions use half of special Landmark! Usually I won when I'm far from build enough scattered base to own every (useful) Special Landmark. What a pity, because I WANT ALL, ALL THE PLANET

Darkstar, just a note added because this stupid forum filter changed into asterisk the first part of my work "A_S_S_URE", that AFAIK is a polite word for insure someone. If I'm wrong, my apologize to you, is all about my bad english, otherwise the forum filter is gone crazy about the first part of the word sounding as the back of someone (or just suffer of some misconfiguration, really not a bug at all, as I can ***ure Jeff ).
Just to clean up this silly thing.
