Senator - First: Prerequisite - You need to project some unit different (better) from that you already own. By example, a new infantry with better armour or weapon (remember, you can't upgrade from different type of structure, e.g. you can't upgrade a infantry into a rover). Second: I strongly suggest you completly build at least one of the new unit (prototype) into one of your base, so you put down the price of the upgrade to an affordable one (otherwise you'll get a message about unit not beeing prototyped, blah, blah, and it will cost you x times more to upgrade). Third: back into unit workshop, first select the old unit you want to upgrade (it must appear into the main display), then push the "upgrade" button. It should appear a panel suggesting the different units to which you can upgrade (if more than one is available) starting from your selected (old) unit. If you have enough money (energy) you can hit OK, and now your old units are upgraded to the new one. Best of all, if you upgrade every single unit on the field (using ctrl-U) you lose that movement turn for the unit, but if you upgrade all unit from the workshop you keep the full movement (e.g. you can attack with the new, more powerful unit into the same turn) Forth: Repeat the previus upgrade process with all the different unit design you like to keep up, till you have enough money I hope this help is good enough for you, because english is not my mother tongue, so surely I write it in simple english, but probably with a lot of error Bye |
