Follow up to Scenario Editor: Flooding. This only occurs on maps that were blanked to all ocean via the Edit Map command, edited (Land raised, etc), and then saved. (Re)loading such a map, anc then raising or lowering land, trips the 1000m flood (as can putting in a river. If the river causes an altitude change, a 1000m flood is tripped). And it only occurs ONCE (saving a flooded map, loading it, and raising/lowering land does not cause another flood). Although a created from blank map will always flood on raising/lowering if it was loaded and hasn't flooded (and been saved).
Workaround: When creating a map from scratch (blanked), raise one tile to show. Save. Load back in the map. Raise (or lower) that tile (Map floods). Save. Reload. You are now safe from further inintended flooding.
Still highly aggravating when creating maps for multiplayer matches!
