my interface screens sometimes for no reasons come apart. they no longer have a border and the problem is kinda hard to explain in words but really easy to identify by looking at it. usually if i restart AC it will go away but i wonder why it was happening and if i'm the only one experiancing it

No - it's a fairly common problem when you get RAM or swapfile limited. Arguably, it's poor coding for the interface elements. If you reboot or use memturbo (www.memturbo.com) that will help.
