How can I take pictures of the screen during games to use in other pictures? I've tried <CTRL-PRINTSCREEN>, and I can't find the answer in the manual.Apologies if this is documented somewhere obvious, but I couldn't find it. Thanks CelticWarLord

You cant take screenshots in the normal way (if, please write it me). You have to use a special progam like Hypersnap (avaliable on 30-Day-Test-Version). Hypersnap works correct. |

There's a round-about way to do them. Start windows paint or some other graphics program, then when when in the game, press 'Print Screen' and then either exit the game or press the 'windows' key if you have one, this will bring up the taskbar so you can change focus to the graphics program you started first (The reason you have to do it this way is because 'alt-tab' gets disabled by SMAC). Then just select 'paste as new image', save and return to the game.~Rackam |

ahh...I thought it was <alt>+<Print Screen>. Also, if Smac disables <alt>+<tab> for switching (it does not on my sys) you can press <Ctrl>+<Esc> to view that long, grey thing with the start button (a.k.a taskbar?) Also, when SMAC lunches, it automatically switches your system to 256 colors, so you might want to switch your desktop color settings to 256 color, otherwise when you paste the captured image it may be screwed up. |
