After a reinstallation of SMAC, I realized I'd lost my old Hall of Fame data. Fortunately, I backed up the AC folder, so I have it somewhere. The question is: where? Can someone supply me with the filename so that I can restore my hard-won victories to the HoF? |

It would be nice if Alpha Centauri had an uninstall feature like Starcraft: that you can autmatically uninstall the bulk of the game but that your profile or in this case your Hall of Fame isn't deleted. I'm sorry but I don't have an anwser to your question. |

There is a file called 'hallfame.jhh' in the main directory of SMAC. I think, this could be the HoF-file. |

That's the one! I could not open it, but copying the old file into the newly installed SMAC directory restored the complete Hall of Fame. Thanks a lot. Mike |
