Has anybody else tried to build formers and colony pods on gravship hulls? They act strangely:

1. Improvement removals by gravship formers are considered bombing runs.

2. Gravship colony pods cannot build sea bases -- they are treated as gound units!

Grav-Formers RULE! Their ability to move between land and sea, ignoring terrain, makes them the most useful piece of equipment you can build. While I have not used them in an agressive role (removing improvements on enemy squares), I extensively use my Grav-Formers when the tech becomes available. The only trouble I have encountered with them is in the fact that they won't "Auto Improve" sea hexes for me.

I'll have to check out the feature of the Grav-Colony Pod. It never really occurred to me until now. I much prefer the "Standard/Plain Jane" Colony Crawler... With DROP PODS! (...and the Space Elevator makes them the GODS of Colonization!... Hoo-Ha!)
