After the hint from Excelsior quite some posts below I now do not encounter anymore crashes during the secret project movies, but the movies stutter and some times are played frame by frame.
What is the best way to set the read ahead cache for the game (loads of it or minimal?)
And what about the stuttering of some messages? Anyone got a solution?

Oh, and what about the loads of .wav files in the directory? I played them once for fun, because I thought the file "System Error" is nice for a windows sound :-) and I found a lot of sounds I never heared in the game itself. Does the sound "pattern" differ from Fraction to Fraction?
