i have tried on more than one ocasion to logg into the AlphaHQ and the faction HQ but it won't let me...it always says there is no record of my account...but i can post on the forums.
there is getting very frustrating! i created a new account becuase it said if you had problems logging in you may have to create a new account...so i did but still nothing!
i have ie 5.0
but it did the exact same thing when i had ie 4.1
help me out please!!!!!!

At this time they are two different accounts. Go to the SMAC website:
http://www.alphacentauri.com/index2.html
And click on Register at the bottom to setup and account for the Factions and Alpha HQ
