TERRAN caused an invalid page fault in
module TERRAN.EXE at 014f:0046d66d.

It happened during the AI movement phase. Toward the end of a large map game.
It is repeatable, and I have the save just before the 'end of turn'.

Do you have any idea how many dozen hours I spent on this game? My marriage is on the rocks. My children call me "uncle dad". I gave up eating last weekend so I could kill Miriam....

sorry.. forgot some details..
playing the US version. with patch 3.0 installed.
128MB ram.
got latest directx.

ok.. I read some of the other terran crashes.. so .. *more* info..
I made no mods to any of the .txt files. Have had no problems before. Have finished some of 'em.
It is the largest map you can make. Running w/ over 1.5gb of disk and windows [95b] is running the virtual memory.
Nothing else was running at the time, since SMAC has taken over my life lately...

Ok.. So I found out what the problem is. I hope that this will help others with similar crashes.
If you run SMAC with the game-save that crashes *IMMEDIATELY AFTER* you run MS Excell when you worked on a really big tax spreadsheet.... then terran.exe doesn't crash.
I understand everything now.. yes...
{OH NURSE!!! more of those nicey-nice pills please}
