Has anyone else noticed that the Bulk Matter Transmitter secret project increases your mineral production by 50% instead of just adding +2 minerals per base. Is this intentional?

I noticed it the first time I played the game, and posted about it here two months ago. I don't know if it is intentional, but the secret project would have been useless if it added just +2 minerals per base. They should have corrected the description in the game. Not a big deal, but such correction should take less than half a minute to do. Evidence that they don't read all the messages in this forum.
