"[I] want to activate all my units that are currently held in a base without searching every base."??? If you wish to activate all units in a single base, why would you have to search every {I presume, other] base? All you should have to do is select the terrain tile of the base containing the units you wish to activate [left-click and go through base view or right-click and use the pop-up menu item for "info on this square", or shift right-click] and activatethe units one at a time by clicking on those displayed in the lowest central window. Perhaps I do not understand your question, could you rephrase? d.brodale |

this is a rephrase of my original question.I have about thirty bases and I know I have held some units at several of them, however several long turns later, I don't recall where they all are. in Civ II, you could bring up a list of bases that would allow you to see what was in each base and simply jump to a base from that list and make changes. I have not found such a feature in SMAC. thanks in advance for all who reply! Stardog |

Stardog,You can do this by clicking on HQ in the left menu pop-up. Then click on base operations, then click the garrisons tab. I know it's hard to stop playing SMAC and just browse around with the interface. If you can summon up the willpower though, you will find a plethora of useful information. It really is a piece of art! Good luck and have fun. JAMiAM answering for dbrodale (I think he finally went to sleep!) |
