I don't know if these problems are known, so don't kill me if I tell nothing new... In the mfd's theres a problem with (german at least) text - when it's too long, the last line is skipped / overwritten by the next msg. In diplomacy your possible answers are sometimes two-lined, even if the text would fit in one... Don't know if its a feature or bug, but when i try to "drag" a needlejet-unit to next base, it flys a bow and takes more steps then moving by hand.

About diplomacy : it looks like a bug. About airplanes : the bow is a feature of french SMAC, but does not take longer (Units usually use diagonals instead of straight lines generally) |

As I understand the AI calculates the way to use basing on the level of the area. Means that it don't cross direct a hill or prefers deep sea instead a shorter way over low sea. This means it's calculated land units and air unis at the same way. But what's right for land units isn't right for air units. |
