I tried to submit this message earlier but the Subject didn't appear. I resent it to see if maybe I forgot to add it.
Here's the basics of my previous message (it wasn't saved)

I have been unable to reach Transcendence in Alpha Centauri. I think I'm running V2.0.
I have the option selected for my game, I've built every secret project including "Voice of Planet" and the computer keeps telling me to start my Transcendence. Unfortunately, the secret project to ascend never appears as an option for me to build.
Any ideas?

Do you have transcenance victory enabled? Transcenance isn't really as good as all the hype, Economic victory, now that's a challenge.

have you tried looking at all your bases, coz maybe you can only build it at the base that originally did the research?

I did have the option set as a possible victory condition.
When you say "look at the base". Which one do you mean. If anyone can begin AtoT after VoP is built, this shouldn't really make a difference. Of course, I'm still willing to listen to your suggestion and I'll look around tonight.
