I have a P200, 96MB RAM, Matrox Millenium 4MB. All game installed to Quantum Fireball 7.6EL HDD. When more than 4 or 5 units are around its slooooooow. Will a 3d acc card (e.g. Voodoo2 type from Creative) help this at all?

No. Each of the patches however, v2.0 and v3.0 make signifigant improvements in map speed.
