posted 03-28-99 02:53 AM ET Something that was extremely useful in Civ 2 that could be implemented easily in SMAC is that whenever you host a multiplayer game in Civ 2, it pops up with your OWN IP before you start the game. This is good because it's a pain in the butt to get your IP to send to people who want to join your game. If you would just add that simple window with a text field that you could copy text from containing your IP then it'd make starting TCP/IP games much faster.

Yes, I have to agree with this. Nothing like having to get some |<3\/\/L \/\/@R3Z T00LZ and sniff for my own IP address!
