Well I've heard this and that about this crashing and that not working, same thing I hear every time a game comes out. And as usual I've had 0 crashes. I wonder just how many of these crashes are caused by the games and how many are by bad system setups? If you are consistantly having problems with games you are buying, its probably your computer not the games. Don't overclock, read reviews of any product that you put in your computer, don't buy a machine from a non-computer store like best buy or circuit city. Always update your drivers every chance you get. I know some problems are caused by the software, but I'm willing to bet 25%+ are caused by peoples hardware. Then again thats just my opinion.

Yea, but when you have a system that has been running fine for an extended period and then goes down the tubes when you install a new program, you have to wonder. With so many different combinations of Windows versions, hardware, drivers, BIOS and DirectX I am amazed that any of this stuff works at all! Regards Todd Bailey |

I'd agree with you most of the time...but this game won't even start on my system that has been formatted just to see if it was something interferring. Half life and countless other games have been fine with an occasional bug, but I can't get it to start. I'm patient, though, and there are too many of us out there for them not to fix the problems....it does work on my 166 mmx machine that won't come close to playing Halflife... |

yeah thats why I said 25%+ were caused by hardware instead of a higher percentage. I figure if I say everyone just has a bad computer, the next 10 games I buy wouldn't run on my system... that whole Karma thing . |
