Has anyone at Firaxis got an ETA on the UK version of the patch ?
P.S. it freaks me out reading messages about just how unreliable my latest purchase is...is it really as bad as it sounds ?
P.P.S. I have an SB Live! Am I better off disabling EAX support in the game ? Does it make a whole load of difference (didn't to SimCity 3000 for example) ?

All EAX seems to do is bump reverb up to 50% and that's it. And changing eax=0 doesn't seem to turn it off either. The reverb is almost too much, making it hard to hear the speeches.
