Is UBB's search function working correctly? If not (I can't seem to get it to work), it would probably save Firaxis (this means you Jeffrey) about 600,000 hours (a lifetime) to fix this thing. People would not repost questions in this forum as much.

Hear, hear. Alternatively - though a inferior solution if Dans suggestion is possible at all - a troubleshooting FAQ would be most welcome. The EA Troubleshooting help provided with the game is inadequate to put it mildly. |

The search function finds NADA,nothing, zip, zero, not there,no way, no mater what you try and find. This really shouldn`t be too hard to implement, and would save you Firaxites lots of time answering repeat qustions. |

They would have to "update threads" and reindex the threads. They would have to bring down the board for several hours, since there are about 10 million threads on this board. |

Agghhh... Now I can't post a new topic to the science and tech forum! Please Firaxis, I'm begging you. Could you update your threads and reindex? |

It shouldn't be to hard to make a search tree where you plugged in the new posts every ten minutes or so. Shouldn't even require that many system resourses. I just learned how to do it at my 1st year Computer course... |

Thue: UBB already has this feature in it. No need to do any perl programming. |
