I have been trying to shorten my games (since it takes forever for Transcend victories), and have been playing a few conquest victories. Now I admit I am not that quick at it yet, but in what I thought was my best time on a standard planet, I had everyone surrender (and I elimiated one faction) in 132 years (2232).Sounds ok, but the game did not end. I then went back and started making demands of my surrendered partners. When I came to Miriam, she wasn't actting very submissive (It said submissive and she had surrendered). We got into a disagreement anad ended our pact. I then decided to go teach her a lesson and eventually made her surrender again. At this point, I was given a conquest victory, etc, etc..
So my question is this. Does the AI have the ability to go back on it's surrender terms? I thought it was an interesting twist - certainly I didn't expect it. The question is whether this is a bug or not?
