I will run the game for awhile, an hour or so. And i get this fault. i have to totally restart windows 98 to recover. I have 500 mb on hard drive.

Another problem i have is i cant get into the AlphaHQ to play multi player. I keep getting script errors. I have windows 98 upgraded with all the upgrades

First off, run DXDiag.exe and look for "!" on any of the pages. Let me know what they are if any are present. If any are, you might want to install DX 6.1 from www.microsoft.com/directx.

OK I installed DX 6.1. Still didnt work. It did the same thing. I also checked DXdiag and everything is good. Do you have any other suggestions.

So you were able to run both the directdraw tests and directsound tests fine? Are you specifying an amount of hard drive space for the swap file? If so, let windows handle it. Where does the fault occur? In terran.exe, sound.dll, kernel32, or somewhere else?
