On the Alpha Centauri box, it says the game requires a 2 meg video card. I have a 1 meg video card, but the v1.1 of the demo works ok on my computer(P133 w/ 40mb ram). So will the full version of Alpha Centauri work on my computer since the demo worked fine? This is the only thing keeping me from buying the game now.(thanks jeffrey morris for helping me fix the repeating sound problem!)

I forget where the divisions lie, but you need to support 800x600x256 colors (8-bit) at the minimum. That should be 1 meg, but I don't know for certain. If the demo worked though, you're probably in the clear.
