Hi,Great game! Just starting off, a minor annoyance: 1. System: Pentium Pro 200, Diamond Riva TNT PCI w/version 255 drivers, latest BIOS update, 64MB RAM, DirectX6.1 (ask if more sysinfo needed) 2. Set Gamma Correction in-game to 1.80 (as with almost everything released these days, game is too dark on default. I use Displaymate, from Sonera Technologies, to optimize my visual settings on my monitor to my room/lighting conditions, for maximum black and maximum white). 3. When exiting game, in-game's Gamma affects gamma settings for main Desktop, have to reset in Display Properties/Settings/Advanced/Gamma Correction. Theory: In-game gamma is changing gamma settings for desktop (in registry?) and not changing 'em back when exiting. Thanks for lots of fun and keep up the good work! Steve

Weird. Check task manager (ctrl-alt-delete) and make sure terran or alpha centauri isn't still running. Otherwise, looks like we'll need to pick up Diamond TNT card (damn...).jkm firaxis games |

Checked -- game isn't running any more. No executables visible in TM. Weirder still, now when I run Dungeon Keeper in Direct3D mode and exit, same thing happens. I have reinstalled DX6.1 and then TNT version 255 drivers, to see if that will help, will let you know if that's a fix. Couldn't find anything unusual in the registry in the most obvious places. Thanks for the lightning-fast response in any event! You've got a great Forum here. Steve

Same gamma correction problem here. Have the Craphics Blaster Riva TNT 128 AGP. Any gamma changes in the game effect the desktop after exiting the game. |

Hey Gang,Have any of you Riva TNT folk tried nVidia's own drivers? I think its called the Detonator or something. I have a Creative Labs Riva TNT and have found nVidia's drivers MUCH BETTER than Creative Labs own. |
