Author Topic:   NT4.0 Workstation Will not host?

Everytime I try to bring up a multiplayer game on NT 4.0 (SP3), it give sme the message: "Sorry, but the host's version of the game is older than your version and incompatible. In order to connect, this session's host will need to upgrade the game."
Interesting since that machine is the host. Note that I can join games fine from the machine, so long as they are hosted from a win9x machine. *boggle*
Any way to get around this?

Weird. Did you patch this machine to 2.0? If not, it's probably worth doing. I'll look into it tomorrow. Email me at [email protected] with any other details you think might be important.

Nope, haven't patched it yet. I'll do that and try it, and send email if the problem persists.
