Is the patch gonna be a zip file? Or a zip-exe? or a <gack> install-shield file that I won't be able to get a readme out of without having installed the game?

I want to d/l it here at work over the f/T1 and get the readme, so I'll know whether or not to take the rest of the day off

Where is the patch gonna be, anyway? And is it going to have the promised manual index, or is that going to be separate?

I wonder if Brian and Sid ever have pangs of guilt knwoing that they themselves are personally responsible for putting such a dangerous game on the market. The game is dangerous in the fact that across the world, people are cutting out from work early. people are staying up too late playing and arriving to work late. Some peolpe don't even show up to work and still others forget to wake thier kids and take them to school. I can just feel the world slowly grind to a halt as mroe and more pople get addicted to SMAC.

You know, with this new lawsuit that was brought up and won in new york about gun makers being legally responsible for the actions of a gun user i think we should all hire Larry H. Parker (A famous ambulance chasing lawyer here in america) and have him fight for us! We shoudl sue Firaxis for lost wages, jobs, and family! Hey if you think about it, it isn't OUR fault that our kid was late to school, or that our wife had to give birth on our front lawn as she was trying to crawl to the car to get to the hospital on her own, or that our company goes under because we aren't there to run it. It is Thier fault! The makers or SMAC! The newest addictive attraction this world must face!

I'm not sure where the patch is going to be put up, but look for a new button somewhere on our site. It'll be a rtpatch file, so it'll modify the readme.txt vs overwriting it.
