OK - I don't know what happened but about two weeks ago suddenly my computer started automatically dialing up to my internet connection whenever I played or loaded anything that required it (i.e. outlook, Browser, even a single player game of HALFLIFE!!) Can anyone tell me how to get in and disable this? I have looked everywhere I can think of (my dial-up networking connection, browser setup options, etc.) Any help would be appreciated. SMAC does it as well... Grey |

IE4 (or 3) View | [Internet] Options Connection Tab, Choose "Connect to the internet using a LAN" or similar. Should prevent Windows Auto-dial ISP. James |
