Author Topic:   After loading US SMAC 2.0. No sound and all untis are 1-1-1

Hey, whats up? After loading the 2.0 patch I get no sound and all of my units when fighting are 1-1-1, even when they are displayed as being 5-3-2 etc???. There are no errors when loading the patch and my sound card is certified with 6.1 DX.
Before I loaded the patch sound was fine!

Well, it's probably misdetecting your soundcard as EAX compatible. Set both EAX and DS3D to 0 in the alpha centauri.ini file. Don't know about the 1-1-1 thing. Send a save to [email protected] if you can dupe it.
