I don't know how the distribution network works for Alpha Centauri but I havn't found the french version in Qu�bec (Canada). So, I decided to buy the English version. However, I manage to find the french version of the txt files. And it should work well but the accents where changed and some carriage return where added during the E-mail transimtion from Switzerland to Canada. I fixed some file and it takes lots of time. My question is Why Firaxis/EA didn't put all the files for evry language on ONE CD? Having all the file on ONE CD would enable the players to choose their language or with english if they don't like the translation. Is it possible (legal?) to FIRAXIS(or anybody that read that) to send me a copy of the 32 txt files in French? The files should be "unchanged" if they come from USA. I can read alomost everything in English, I work in English but I thing I'm missing a lot of really GOOD stuff not having the Alpha Centauri text in my first language. "Merci" for any help. |
