Once I actually start the game in SMAC, as soon as the tutorial boxes come up, the mouse pointer sticks. The arrow stays at the same point on the screen. However, it acts as if the pointer is still moving around, as every so often a button lights up as I move the (invisible) pointer over it. This only happens when the tutorial\demo boxes come up, so if someone could tell me how to make it so these demo boxes don't come up, that wuld solve my problem too - the mouse works fine in the tutorials.
I have the full, UK version, on a P233, 32mb RAM, windows 95
