Here is my idea.
I have noticed that a lot of people are having problems with a bug in terran.exe that appears around 2400 - 2500 years. I too have experianced this problem. I have gotten to the point where I have almost lost complete interest in the game. My idea is this, because this bug makes the game non-completable, why not release a small patch that fixes this somewhat huge problem. Instead of releasing a huge patch 2 or 3 weeks from now after everybody has lost interest in SMAC.

Thats my 2 cents worth.
