I am having a GPF problem as well. I was playing the game for the better part of a day and all of the sudden I got a GPF in Terran.exe at about year 2374. I can duplicate it with the same save game file.
My PC is a 233mmx, 64mb RAM, 10GB drive (5 free), ATI 3D expression 2MB and Canopus Pure 3D. I am running the US version.
I have since applied v2.0 but the GPF still occurs.
I seems pretty wierd since I did nothing but play the game for 2 days and it worked fine then all of the sudden GPF. Any new ideas?

GPFs under Win95 are usually caused by memory conflict with a 16-bit app - often a TSR of some sort. Are you running any DOS drivers, or loading anything in your autoexec.bat? You might also unload any resident virus protection like Norton or McAfee - they are also notorious for causing crashes.

Also, make sure that you've got plenty of HD space and that windows is managing your swap file. You might be running out of virtual memory.
