This is probably a stupid question, but I can't find this anywhere. What button/menu do I use to get the faction intelligence details? I can get it if another faction tries to initiate communications with me, but how do I reach it normally?

Just go to the commlink, right-click a faction leader's name and select "profile", you get better intelligence when you've commited a probe team spying out their datalinks.
