Author Topic:   Problems with Installation on PC side of Apple PowerMac

We have a Power Mac 7220/200 with a genuine Pentium 166 MHz DOS card installed. When trying to install Alpha Centauri we get an error message (type -113 occurred) after less than 1% installed. Has anybody else had this problem, or know how to fix it? (the PC version of Civilization II works fine on the DOS side of the Power Mac).

PS I am new to this business of question posting in forums and I think I left off some important info. I am in Australia, using the ASIA PACIFIC edition of Alpha Centauri, and I am trying to install under operating system Windows 95 (revision B).

You're running dos drivers. Since I'm not sure they make win95/98 drivers for mac cd-rom drives, you may want to skip fixing it and just manually copy the \programs folder from the CD-Rom to a folder on the HD. Copying \voice and \fx may be worth copying as well.
