Without a known trigger or a savegame and instructions to replicate the crash, there isn't much I can do.  I can't even know if it was my patch or something that would have happened anyway.

Generally, crashes and bugs that cannot be reproduced are nearly impossible to fix.

I got some really weird numbers with 2.2, before it crashed: start year 537,600; energy from killing native life‐forms in multiples of 2,560; upgrade somewhere about 14,000‐odd for scout patrol → synth garrison. To make it even more odd — costs were normal when actions were performed from within the base UI screen.

If I didn’t know any better I’d suspect uninitalised variables, but the game was stable (if a touch surreal because of those ridiculous numbers) for over three hours before finally crashing. Don’t think I’ve ever seen anything remotely as complex as SMAC remain stable for any length of time with uninitialised variables… stranger stuff has happened though.

Those are all due to the problem discussed in the other thread and fixed shortly afterward; try re-downloading it now, and everything other than the year of already-started games should be fixed.
