Fortunately, that rover takes my former instead as I rush an impact rover at WJWD.

In the jungle, I kill a Crimson scout patrol while another rover survives an ambush from a Crimson Laser Infantry!

Out east, the column of infantry see what looks like a land bridge covered in fungus. Maybe that holds the answer to what the Comrades were fighting.

The AI of the Comrades in this play-through seems to be pretty elusive at times. I'm interested to see where this goes.

Yeah, It is like Vietnam. I do not think the Comrades have had a chance to build up too much. That base I just found will at least stop attacks coming from the north.

I am just worried what is across that fungus bridge where the Comrades were. What if the Comrades were secretly holding off solo the Antimind and I have unwittingly unleashed them?

Might have been. The Comrade's both in my play through of them and playing with/against them are militarily strong. They can field large, well trained/motivated armies that are usually on par with the tech level, so I'd bet they were fighting something strong.

I begin the assault with the lone impact infantry on Power to the People, leaving no defender.

The Comrade scout rover is taken out by an impact rover before more harm can be done, ending the minor Crimson attempt at counter attack.

A mindworm eats a former down south.

Power to the People seized and in ruins..

Another Crimson rover is spotted next to one of my badly damaged impact rovers, trapping it between it and a fungal tower.

I wipe out the smaller base and will attack what I believe is the last of the Comrades next round.

Out east is weird. I found Mt. Planet, but WHAT were the comrades fighting to have damaged and elite troops? I know I have been having issues with native life, could it possibly be not any enemy but the mindworms themselves? Chuft's Pink haired girl?

And... where are the Lawyers. They got a secret project and seem to be powerful as well.

Then again, maybe it was native life AND the Lawyers.

I find Court Records right past Mt. Planet.

Speaking of the Comrade, he is being stubborn. He rushed a synthmetal sentinel and counter attacked an impact rover with a laser infantry, nearly killing it.

Maybe not the last of the Comrades... there is yet ANOTHER base, somewhere north.

Yeah, Jarl... they JUST WILL  NOT DIE!

But the Comrades are not the only ones who will see Miriam's true colors...

The attorney frantically calls wondering what I am doing on his land...

But we all know  ;miriam;

She is fixing to dance all over the Human Genome Project!

Of course, the Comrades flatter me with sweet talk even as impact rovers circle in for the kill.

We are no longer particularly in the business of writing software to perform specific tasks. We now teach the software how to learn, and in the primary bonding process it molds itself around the task to be performed. The feedback loop never really ends, so a tenth year polysentience can be a priceless jewel or a psychotic wreck, but it is the primary bonding process?the childhood, if you will?that has the most far-reaching repercussions.
