Author Topic:   NO DEMO AND EPISODE 31 IS LATE

Adding to my other complaint about Firaxis' deadline lies. Episode 31 is not up today as it is supposed to be. In fact it was supposed to be up sooner than today! This adds to my growning disdain for Friaxis' altogether. All I can think of is "YOUR ALL SUCKERS"

Dude, you need to seriously chill out. There's a note on the news page about the story and the demo. If you can't handle waiting for the demo, I suggest you go amuse yourself some other way.

Chrisk, you're obviously completely incapable of reading. When episode 30 was posted, they specifically did *NOT* say "Episode 31 will be posted on Monday, December 21st."
What DID they say one might wonder?
"The next episode will be posted soon."
Can you point out to me exactly where it says that the story would be posted on Dec. 21st, or indeed earlier than that?

One of the enlightened told me that I didn't express all the sentiment I intended in my last post. I saw the error of my ways, here is a correction.

If you will notice, nobody seems to like you, at all. They insult, harrass, threaten, and taunt you. This might lead one to believe that you were either a) Completely oblivious to all outside stimulation, or b) Just a freaking idiot who wastes his time posting hate mail in a fan-forum. Even c) Both. You're not getting any brownie points if that's what you're going for. Either way, your negativity is not needed here. The good people of Firaxis have developed a wonderful game for us, and I'm damned if we can't wait 3 more days for them to let us test the waters. Are you actually so mindless to think that ranting at these people will further their progress in releasing the demo? Will this some how satisfy some sick need they have to be bad-mouthed by impatient gamers? Go find somewhere else to do your ranting. It's not needed, nor appreciated here.

Actually, based on the Who's a Programmer and How Many Candles on Your Cake message threads, I'd say that quite a few people have pretty busy lives although SMAC addiction may take up more time and energy than our spouses would prefer.
Chrisk--If we're all the big suckers then how come YOU are the one who is so angry and dejected, yet continue to post and express those feelings? If you can't handle the wait, then do something else. Otherwise, if you enjoy the demo and the final release when they come out, then what's the big deal?

Scrolling all the way back to Chrisk's original message, i realy don't get why the you all responded with such aggression towards him. 'you are all suckers' doesn't sound that intimidating. And if you don't like his 'impatience', and post so many angry replies, what does that say about YOUR patience and ability to 'chill out'?
