OK people, I'm in the middle of a upgrade to my web site .. I'm starting this tread for anyone who'd like to have links to their pages ... I don't really like to put links without permission. That being said, I authorise anyone who'd like to have a link to my site to do so if they'd like .. although, I'd prefer you wait a week or so until I finish it, but if you do it now, I have no complaints. Also, if anyone has any content they'd like to add, just let me know .. I'm thinking of maybe having a profiles section for all SMACers ... please let me know whether you'd like to be included in this feature or not ... If I see many people want to be on, I'll just include everyone I can find, if on the other hand, not to many people want to be on, I'll only put people who want to be on !!! My site will be on many things, as I am a DJ, there will be alot of music content, I also want to have large sections devoted to SMAC and the 8th Faction. If anyone would like to write anything for the site, you are more than welcome to !!! Eventually, I want the site to also have a political section, for my plans to work the way I want, I'll need a very diverse cross-section of political beliefs .. LMAO .. I can't believe I didn't put the address of my site .. lol listen.to/rebel not there is no www !!! The http:// is optional on most browsers of course !!! My links section isn't activated yet, so don't go looking for links to your sites until tomorrow !!! |

OK thanks SF, if you ever find it, just post ithe info here, although, I don't see my problem in the coding, but more in the content !!! There's so much stuff I want in there, that it's a bit overwelming !!! But it's off to a nice start I find !!! |

haha .. yup .. that must have been for the links page, I think that's my last dead link !!! (might be another one somewhere) !!! Anyways, as I said, anyone who wants to wrote an article on SMAC or anything else, just let me know !!! Let me know if you find more !!! |

DJ I might be being dumb but what, exactly, would you have a problem with making work on Netscape? All your stuff looks standard to me. I don't get the difficulty. A standard HTML editor would allow you to do it no problems. Even Frontpage express which comes free with your beloved IE 4. I also prefer it but only for ease of use, sometimes I find I have to use Netscape (cacheing threads on this forum is one problem I can't shake off IE 4 at home) If you were using Javascript extensively I'd appreciate your argument, but it doesn't look like you are. |

Q, NP, tonight is my last night before my holidays, I'll put it on tomorrow !! Mike H, I just like having my own script in there, from what I guess, the HTML generators and editors all add all kinds of useless lines in there !!! I like mine to be clean and compact !!! LOL .. as for my problem with Netscape, I did fix the problem, one of the major ones I had was a pesky / instead of a \ .. could you believe it took almost 2 hours to find it ??? LOL Maya, if you ever read this thread, I'd like to have like a weekly quote section, and seeing as you have the best quotes I've ever seen, would you mind e-mailing me about a dozen or so if you get the chance and time !!! Muchos gracias !!! =) BTW, anyone who'd like to add anything about anything is more than welcome to send me their stuff !!! Thanks for the feedback, and see you soon !!! |

BTW .. Anyone know if the Pioneer SCSI DVD-Rom is any good ??? I was going to buy a Plextor SCSI CD-Rom, but the Pioneer SCSI DVD is only about $40 more expensive !!! |

No one has anything to say about their links ??? LOL .. I made up names for half of your site as a temporary thing until you gave me the titles and descriptions you wanted !!! Anyone else who would like me to link your own site, or a site you think merits attention, let me know, and I'll add it !!! Again, asking for a bit of advise, do you guys like jokes ??? I've collected all kinds of jokes throughout the last year just from people sending me anoying e-mails .. I was thinking of putting up a jokes section !!! I actually have time off for once .. LOL .. I need creative ideas so my site can be ready for action in the new year !!! If anyone here with no site has any articles or stories or anything they want to have up on the web, let me know !!! Although, I'm going to try to stick to politics, philosophy, science, technology .. or anything else of a serious nature !!! Also, if you have any cool MP3's, Wavs, Midis or "Fun Files" to add to the ones I already have, please let me know !!! I'm going to develop my SMAC section in the next few days, so if anyone wants to put their own stories up, I was thinking of maybe using my site for that .. I really don't have the time to make daily update like BeyondAC, but I'd like to help promote the game in some way, and putting up fan fiction seems like something no-one else has done so far, so I'm thinking of doing that !!! OF course, anything related to the 8th faction is more than welcome !!!
