How about a supermultiplayer team game played out across several worlds? It would be as if there were several simultaneous multiplayer games. But the games are connected by teams. The spartans on one world could teleport units to a different spartan player on another world, give energy, etc. The faction/team that controls the most worlds at the end wins, or the first faction/team that conquers a world wins the entire supermultiplayer game.

Sounds complex, but complexity could be fun. The details could be ironed out. Perhaps there can be some restrictions on the interworld connections. Perhaps the units can only be teleported to another world in certain node locations on each planet, or whatever.

Comments, ideas, suggestions?

Sounds a bit like playing soccer in multiple dimensions with several balls. Fun, but confusing.

Sounds cool. Sorta like chess with 3 boards. With 21 players, lag city though.

"lag city though."

Yeah, just think, you already have enough problems with 7 player strategy games, now try multiples of 7!
