I intend to start a new SMAC PBEM
-----------------------------------
- 4-7 Humans (no human factions will be AI)
- Patch 2 or 3 allowed, any language
-----------------------------------
scenario conditions:
--------------------
- scenario, already 3 cities,
- max similar starting conditions
- max similar resources
- max similar cities
- max similar units
- max similar research
- this means it's unimportant
what faction you have, all
depends what settings you'll
made when starting
- Huge map
- reduced all random events
------------------------------------
other conditions:
-----------------
- when saving the first move
don't forget to set password
- contact to other humans by email to arrange
pacts or strategy allowed.
- using nerve gas and/or planet buster will
make *all* factions to enemies for 50 years
per using
- after moving the file saved has to send by
zipped file to the next *and* a control
message to all other.
- File name has to be
PBEM-5-[receiver's faction]-[year].sav (.zip)
(sample: PBEM-5-Morgan-2151.sav)

Those who like to join may send to me
the following information:
- *where* you're situated (time zone)
- *when* you can play (please use GMT figures)
- already experience with PBEMs
then I'll try to create a circle with the
best time/transfer relations so that we
can play as many moves as possible.

I'd be interested in taking part, however, I'm not sure whether a mixture of 2.0 and 3.0 players will work in PBEM. It certainly didn't work for me in MP...

it works, we've several PBEMs running mixed.
I set up the scenario with US version and patch 3.

I would be interested in playing if you're still planning on running this PBEM. I'm in Australia and can play in the evenings (7pm-1am). I think that's 9am-3pm GMT
