TROPICAL CHIRON

Slartibartfast Services presents "Tropical Chiron." A Standard sized map and corresponsing scenario. It has rainy settings, a smattering of several patches of jungle distributed around the map, along with more and longer rivers than random maps produce. Plus a whole lot more.

Faction Specs:

As standard game with a small added twist.

Each faction starts with extra Scout Patrol aboard a Unity Foil.

Map Specs:

Name: Tropical Chiron (Std)
Size: Standard
Water: approx. 40%
Weather: Rainy (Dense clouds)
Erosion: Average
Lifeforms: Average
FSPs: 7
Geography: 1 Lrg Continent, 2 Med-Lrg Continents, 2 Med Continents, various islands

Suitable for 2, 3, 4 or 7 human factions (others would be represented by AI).

Additional features of note:

- Nessus Canyon Included!
- New Feature "Fungushenge"
- New Feature "Great Basin of Chiron"
- New Feature "Inland Sea"
- New Feature "Monolith Point"
- New Feature "Sentinel Ridge"
- New Feature "South Polar Canal"

Hi tfs99,

looks interesting, will give the scenario a spin tomorrow. The map definitely rocks! BTW, the second URL (map only) seems to be broken, www.sirius.com/~tfs99/maps/trop-st-nf.zip worked, however.

I keep making the same mistake with that URL. The "~tschlink" was from a previous ISP and I type that by mistake, twice now it seems.

You're right, it should be "~tfs99".
