Possible Saratov / Zakharov -situation detected.

Aki Luttinen doesn't sound right.

It could be the name of a Finnish MALE, maybe, but not of a FEMALE from Norway.

Opinions, anyone?

Norwegian and Finnish are not related at all. They really goofed up this time!

Your completely right. Aki Luttinen is a Finnish name. And a male name. Guess they just took a name they thought sounded scandinavian.

Wait, wait. WHEN did the UNITY leave Earth? 2060, right? Leading to, perhaps, increased blend of different populations? Yes, Aki IS a male name, but as there are people of norwegian ancestry living in Finland in this day and age, there are probably finns living in Norway as well. Right?

Oh, yes, yes. It's entirely possible for a finnish transsexual named Aki Luttinen to immigerate to Norway at any point in the future and then proceed to become a mighty Cyborg faction leader, no one is denying that.

It is also entirely possible that the UN issues a degree stating that everyone in the world must rename themselves to Abigastyr Helmsly, that the entire population of China is eradicated by a mad, gun toating rabbit and that the Eifel Tower is suddenly attacked by a large swarm of previously unknown metal-eating locusts and lost forever. It's just not bloody likely.

I see no real need to make things uneededly convulted. Norwegian women in general are not named after men from Finland. Therefore, having one in SMACx and coming up with an extremely far-fetched reason for her existance instead of just changing the name is plain stupid. No offence meant.

I don't like his/her name either, and would prefer it changed. It's just not impossible. I can also reveal that I wouldn't know the sex of asian names even with a guidebook. Something like that maybe happened here? But what is REALLY bugging me is that when I scroll Luttinen's biography, part of the text just never wants to stay on-screen! (That is, the screen scrolls *past* a portion of the text without stopping. Thought I'd specify.) now THAT is annoying. Do any of you people experience the same?

yeah, the scrolling is annoying
maybe when they "made" her, they thought she was gonna be female

or am i missing something, and was she originally human? Maybe the liked the name Aki, and changed her name...?

Look, if Aki Luttinen stays, and is found out about, it'll become the laughing stock of game magazines. Especially in Finland.

Still hanging on to Aki, I see... And the annoying scrolling is still there... But no doubt; Hansen is MUCH more norwegian than Luttinen.
