Do we need a moderator? That would probably solve some of the problems happening right now. Someone could say how Human vs Human battles go, how NPC's are doing, etc.

Okay... Go way back... Way back... To the start of RP-ing. Around then, we didn't had any rules, but things worked better than now. I say we should abandon all those rules. Just my point of view...

When was the last migration then, know-all?
You seem to be in a minority of one, Dehlan has agreed the rules are fair.
I request permision to be a moderator, I did design most of the rules, and I would be happy to disband my faction.
BTW the power of the moderator should be limited, so that the 'Council' of all the members can reign in NPC's etc

Not so fast, Eccles.... I'm a better candidate for this position. My faction has been totally forgotten, I can drop my persona on cue, and as for any biases, right out the window!?

Actually, I thought not that many people want to be the moderator, and lose everything.
(As a bribe, if you want, and I become the moderator, you could have my old territories!)

I know this wont work. I will get no votes. The new moderator will send fifteen enemy races after me, but hell. I do not seem to have allies here.
I believe I should be moderator, because I have been here since the beginning of Role Playing. I am one of the starters. Also, I believe I can claim that I have done a major deal of story-line-creating (although you all started flaming after a while).
So, it is just a formality. I wont be voted in.

Oh, and you make being a minority sound a bad thing. Through the whole Guardian history, everyone attacked us (ask JT. He has the complete history (short version)).
We kinda like being the smallest group.
Oh, and to the new moderator:
I hope you know the Guardian history. As soon as you start changing things in a way that our history doesn't fit, we are gone.
We can not and shall not addapt our history. We are the oldest Faction here. And the only inter-forum faction that operates on larger scales.

This has to do with RPing or roleplaying, which was run here for a while but has sorta died down. Talk to someone else, like Dehlan, for a better explanation.

ZyXEL, you need a believable faction in order to join RPing, and then you have to be voted into RPing by the council, and after that you can place your vote for the moderator. There will be one moderator...actually, there's a moderator right now, but we've not heard from him for a while. I would have become a major force in this, but I was unavoidably detained and lost touch. By the time I got back, my faction was toast. Dehlan burned Chiron, and I got burned with it. I still carry this grudge....

I have got a purposal: in my opinion, RP got stuck because there was no storyline. I could provide this forum with one. I can implement the main storyline from the Guardian forums here.
If this will be allowed:
There are two major groups: Good and Evil. They control the Higher Plane and are at war. They also wage war on the Lower Plane.
The Evils have eight armies the control.
The Goods have no armies, but they are allied with the Ancients.
On the lower plane, there are three major groups: The Eight Evil armies, the Ancients and the Independant races. Independant and Ancient fight each other, so do Evil and Ancient. Evil sometimes fight Independant.
The last group is the Guardians. They co-exist with the independant. They are extremely powerfull, but really small (eight people). They have no allies at start. They fight Good, Evil and Ancients. Independants are neutral.

The ultimate goal is to gain control of both Higher and Lower plane. You will need allies to do so.
Good/Ancient combination can win alone, but can also ally with Independant.
Evil can win alone, but can form pacts with Independant.
Guardians cannot win alone. THey will have to ally with Independant or form a pact with Good or Evil.
Independant will have to ally with Good, Evil, Guardians or other independants to win.
That about covers the groups. Like it?
