If you look for research priorities for current factions, you'll find three more abilities: Conquer, Explore-Build and Build-Discover. I don't know, why currently able to use only seven faction in game, but probably it would be possible to add three more factions (or at least two, because only Conquer priority looks little weak).

Here is suggestion for these factions:
1.Explore-Build
+1 effic
IMMUNITY: MORALE
Agenda: Wealth
Aversion: Power
Starting tech:??? (Doctrine: Flexibility ?)

2. Build-Discover:
+1 knowledge
-1 probe
-1 police (you should either use Police State or Fundy)
-1 planet
IMMUNITY: EFFIC
Agenda: Planned
Aversion: Green
Starting tech: ??? (Polimorphic Software ?)

In all my games I have only some problems with next factions: Believers, Hive and Gaians, sometimes PK. So, I think that faction with Explore-Build priorities has a real chance in game. Unfortunately, now it's impossible to use two more factions, but I'd rather change Morgan on one of them, because Morgan is a real loser in all my games.
I WANT more opponents during a game.
What do you think, people?
